Competition: See ‘Coriolanus’ at Curzon Mayfair *closed*

To celebrate the release of Ralph Feinnes’ explosive directorial debut Coriolanus (2011) on 20 January 2012, we have TWO pairs of tickets to give away to our lucky readers for a special screening of the film at London’s Curzon Mayfair cinema on 5 January. This is an exclusive competition for our Facebook fans, so if you haven’t already, head over to, ‘Like’ us, and then follow the instructions below.

Coriolanus premiered to great acclaim earlier this year at the Berlin Film Festival. Set against the backdrop of a republic caught up in a long and bitter war, Fiennes’ Coriolanus is a tense and timeless thriller based around power broking, political manipulation and the arguments and prejudices of opposing social extremes.

Caius Martius Coriolanus (Ralph Fiennes), a feared Roman General is at odds with the city of Rome and his fellow citizens. Pushed by his controlling and ambitious mother Volumnia (Vanessa Redgrave) to seek the exalted and powerful position of Consul, he is loath to ingratiate himself with the masses whose votes he needs in order to secure the office. When the public refuse to support him, Coriolanus’ anger prompts a riot which culminates in his expulsion from Rome. The banished hero then allies himself with his sworn enemy Tullus Aufidius (Gerard Butler) to take his revenge on the city.

Winners must be available to attend the screening of the film at London’s Curzon Mayfair on Monday 5 January 2012.

In order to be in with a chance of winning one of two pairs of Coriolanus tickets, all you have to do is answer the following question:

How many Curzon cinemas are there across London?

a) Two
b) Six
c) Ten

To enter, simply fill out the contact form below with your name, email address, subject (‘Curzon’), answer and postal address in the comment box provided.*
