Competition: Win Kevin Macdonald’s ‘Marley’ on DVD *closed*

To celebrate the 20 August Blu-ray and DVD release of Kevin Macdonald’s reggae music doc Marley (2012), we’ve kindly been provided with THREE DVD copies of the film and to give away to our avid readers, courtesy of Universal Studios. This is an exclusive competition for our Facebook and Twitter fans, so if you haven’t already, ‘Like’ us at or follow us @CineVue before answering the question below.

Bob Marley’s message of love and redemption are known around the globe and are brought to life in this world-first authorised documentary. Using never-before-seen archive footage, courtesy of the Marley family, BAFTA and Academy Award winning director Kevin Macdonald takes us on a journey through the life and legacy of the man responsible for introducing the world to reggae.

From his humble beginnings in Trench Town, Kingston, Marley reveals the motivation behind the music and gives unprecedented insight into the intense thinking behind his song-writing, relationships, his views on politics, family and Bob Marley’s role as a provider within the local community. Included are the historical performances at the Lyceum Theatre in London and The Wailers’ first big concert supporting The Commodores at Madison Square Garden.

For your chance to win one of THREE DVD copies of the hugely engrossing and uplifting Marley, simply answer this question:

Marley is produced by which of British actress Elizabeth Hurley’s past partners?

a) Hugh Grant
b) Shane Warne
c) Steve Bing
