A recently revitalised Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and John Cusack star in acclaimed thriller The Paperboy, out to rent and own on DVD and Blu-ray from July 29. The latest film from Lee Daniels (Precious), this is a gritty but sexy drama that garnered acclaim (and perplexity) upon its Cannes premiere last year. To celebrate the home entertainment release of Daniels’ The Paperboy, we’ve kindly been provided with THREE Blu-ray copies to give away, thanks to Lionsgate Home Entertainment. This is an exclusive competition for our Facebook and Twitter fans, so if you haven’t already, ‘Like’ us at facebook.com/CineVueUK or follow us @CineVue before answering the question below.
The Paperboy is the story of two brothers: the elder being Ward (McConaughey), a successful reporter and the younger being Jack (Efron), a handsome college dropout. Ward returns to his swampy southern hometown to investigate the case of a wrongly convicted, but deeply unsavoury man (Cusack), who has been sentenced to death for murdering a local sheriff. As the brothers dig deeper into this murky case, it becomes clear that they’re on a journey filled with lust, betrayal and even jellyfish.
To be in with a chance of winning one of THREE copies of The Paperboy on Blu-ray, just answer the following simple question:
What is the ‘contested’ current title of Lee Daniels’ next film, to be released in 2013?
a) The Butler
b) The Cook
c) The Gardener
