Competition: Win ‘Tracks’ on DVD *closed*

From the Oscar-winning producers of The King’s Speech (2010) and Shame (2011) comes John Curran’s Tracks (2013), the remarkable true story of one young woman’s determination to face her fears and embark on an adventure, starring Mia Wasikowska and Adam Driver. To celebrate the DVD and Blu-ray release of Tracks this coming Monday (18 August), we have THREE DVD copies of Curran’s latest endeavour give away to our regular returning readers, kindly provided by the home entertainment team at the film’s UK distributors Entertainment One. This is an exclusive competition for our Facebook and Twitter fans, so if you haven’t already, ‘Like’ us at or follow us @CineVue before answering the question below.

Tracks tells the story of Robyn Davidson (Wasikowska), a young woman who leaves her life in the city behind to make a solo trek through almost 2000 miles of sprawling Australian desert from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean. Accompanied by only her dog and four unpredictable camels, she sets off on a life-changing journey of self-discovery. Along the way, she meets National Geographic photographer Rick Smolan (Driver) who begins to photograph her voyage. Set against one of the wildest, most dangerous and most breathtaking backdrops on the planet, this unprecedented journey pushed Robyn to her very limits. In witnessing this extraordinary journey we realise that the impossible is within reach of us all.

To be in with a chance of winning one of THREE copies of John Curran’s Tracks on DVD, just answer the following simple question:

Tracks star Mia Wasikowska got her big break working with director Tim Burton on which of the following films?

a) Alice in Wonderland
b) Dark Shadows
c) Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
