Third Window Film Festival 2011: An Introduction

From February 11th to 13th 2011, Third Window Films in conjunction with the Coventry University East Asian Film Society (CUEAFS) present the East Winds: A Third Window Film Festival. The festival’s goal is to raise awareness of Asian cinema to a university crowd who might normally not have much chance to catch Asian cinema on the big screen.

With a 220-seater cinema, cheap ticket prices and a variety of films from all over Asia being shown, Third Window Films and CUEAFS hope you can all enjoy a new type of cinema and let us help you explore a window to the East!

CineVue editor Daniel Green will be one of the guest panel members alongside Asian cinema expert John Berra, Electric Sheep’s Virginie Selavy, New Korean Cinema’s Martin Cleary and CUEAFS founder Spencer Murphy.

The Venue
We’re going to be at the brilliant Warwick Arts Centre for the second weekend in February 2011 warwickartscentre.co.uk.
